Im Mellie. I think Im between 3 and 4 years old. My ear is tipped because someone had me spayed and put me outside. Im a sweet girl, I dont know why I was put outside to fend for myself. My life wasnt easy for a long time. A few weeks ago, my dreams came true. I was brought inside and Im all cleaned up. I can sleep without having to worry about other animals or dodging cars outside. I have regular, nice meals. No more shivering in the cold or panting in the heat, or having no shelter from the rain. Climate control is the best thing EVER! And I like that big box where interesting things are always happening. They call it TV. I use my scratching post, I am a litter trained, indoor girl now and I like people very well. I love to be petted, and I purr easily. Please dont force me to be held or carry me around for too long though. Probably, I wouldnt be the best pet for small children. I dont like dogs at all. I wont rule out other cats entirely, but I would prefer to be the reigning Lady of the Manor of your home. Let me come sit by you on the couch. Ill snuggle onto your lap while we watch TV. Im still playful and I have some nice toys now. I need kindness and understanding. Im ready for a happy life inside where Im safe and loved.
